Mash bill of 95% rye and 5% barley; 45.75% alcohol by volume/91.5 proof; aged six years in charred new American oak. Big orchard fruit flavors with wintergreen, anise, and vanilla. Finish is persistent with spice notes and apple lingering. The extra 2 years of aging have really worked out nicely. This version of Templeton Rye has everything we’ve come to love in the original, and adds a layer of complexity with the extra age.
