Doorly's 14 Year Old Rum (750ml)
Here's what makes Doorly's 14 Year special: it's the oldest expression from one of the Caribbean's most respected distilleries, and you'll almost never see it on American shelves. Richard Seale at Foursquare Distillery ages this blend of pot and column distillates primarily in ex-bourbon barrels before finishing a portion in ex-Madeira casks, creating layers of black cherries, vanilla, oak, and butterscotch at 48% ABV. Most of this production stays in Barbados or heads to Europe, making it a genuine find when it shows up at independent retailers here in the States.
