Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey sends barrels that were used to mature its Classic Rye whiskey to Pennsylvania farmers who age their delicious maple syrup in those whiskey soaked barrels. After the maple syrup is removed from those casks, they are sent back to the distillery and aged Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey is put back in those casks and finished for several months. The result is a spicy rye whiskey with a subtle maple sweetness on the finish and a luscious mouthfeel – a pleasure to drink.
