A great blend from the Languedoc Roussillon. The pressing process is done by foot in order to extract just the right amount of tannin. It's a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and the more unknown Arboriu. This last grape variety is often used in blends. It gives black fruit, spicy flavors and tannins. This wine has a deep color, red and black berries aromas and flavors and a hint of smokiness. I would pair this wine with aged cheeses or risotto. Complex and drinkable at the same time!
