Weingut Thörle is a 16th century estate (1517) in the village of Saulheim within the Rheinhessen. Organically farmed and CE certified since 2022. The wine is aged French 225L oak barrels for 18 months. There are beautiful notes of ripe raspberry, and cherry, with great brightness and tart fruit.

For an entry-level wine, this is astonishingly good. Very fragrant, with a wealth of black cherry and violet aromas plus delicate spice and savory notes. What beautiful balance this has on the structured yet silky medium-bodied palate. The notes of licorice and cloves add complexity to the very long, silky finish. Matured in used barriques. From organically grown grapes.
