Proprieta Sperino Uvaggio 2021 (750ml)
This Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Croatina blend comes from a small DOC nestled next to the Bramaterra and Lessona appellations. “Uvaggio” is the traditional name for a blend made with different grape varieties. The wine ages in a combination of barrique, barrel, and oval for 18 months before ageing in the bottle for several months prior to its release. This is a wine with soaring aromatics with minerality and haunting flavors of tar, spicy cherry and forest floor. Burgundy and Barolo fans be advised that this wine is legit!
