The Cabernet Sauvignon for this wine is sourced from the Pelissa Vineyard. Nearly 70% of this 56.5-acre site is dedicated to Cabernet, however, the fruit produced from each planting is unique due to the differences in vine age, irrigation, trellising, clone, and rootstock. The oldest Cabernet on this vineyard was planted in 1998 and is dry-farmed. This wine has aroms of rich dark fruit like black cherries and blackberries, with subtle notes of fresh roses, cassis, vanilla, and black pepper.
