Harvested from the east side of Seneca Lake, the vines here grow in a unique soil composed of shale, gravelly loam, limestone, and clay. Fermented spontaneously in neutral barrels and bone dry, this is a persistent and beautiful effort that drinks like a true German VDP-level Riesling. Notes of crushed stone, quine, and freshly cut flowers with nice body and length. Pair with grilled shrimp, Thai curry, or a cheese plate.
