Contrary to popular belief, it is indeed possible to locate small, artisan winemakers in Bordeaux's left bank. Our import partner Rosenthal Wine Merchant discovered this property only recently and we are glad they did! Chateau Bardin's Pessac-Leognan is a classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It's impressive in the glass, offering concentrated flavors of black cherry, graphite and tea, with the barrel aging adding some toastiness and a soft, supple texture. This big red will be excellent over the next 5-7 years.
