This is the flagship of the Breton natural winemaking philosophy and comes from very old vines, more than 90 years old, grown on the best soils of Bourgueil on a clay, silex hillside. Dark bright, glossy texture, with expressive aromas of ripe cherries, mineral soils, dark chocolate, and spice. On the palate the wine is intense and very silky, with warm soft fruit and an impressive fresh structure of spice, fruit, and tannin. Sublime with rack of lamb, prime rib, game, or stews.
