Hand-harvested from 20 year old vines, dry farmed in Alexander Valley, with incredibly small yields, concentrated fruit from small berries of equal parts Cab Sauv and Zinfandel. This cuvee is Caleb Leisure’s first rosé-like wine. This baby spent a whole year in bottle before release; it is a wild wine designed for balancing a chaotic world. Bright red fruit, spice, electric acidity, some really delightful melon-y action, ethereal structure, and a whisper of arid tannin with a long finish.
