From Weiser-Künstler what we have is truly old school Mosel wines at their absolute best; they will age for the decades to come. While quality for 2024 is outrageous, quantities are devastating. Following the frost in late April, all the organic growers battled downy mildew throughout the growing season, leaving quantities heartbreakingly limited. What remains in quality and substance is Mosel wine at its absolute finest. In 2024 this wine simply is delicious; there is a wonderful lightness and acidity that shows a classic side to the Mosel with just 9% alcohol with 19g of RS. As always this wine is more about structure, a bracing saline minerality, and garden fresh flowers and herbs.
