Tenuta Mattei Description
Tenuta Mattei Passerina is family-run business that started in the early twentieth century, when Danilo's grandfather cultivated the vineyard and the fields of his property in the Marche. Passerina is a grape you really only see in Italy's Abruzzo, Lazio, and Marche regions. It is mineral and steely, with pretty ripe citrus and tropical fruit notes, and a smooth, dry finish. We were really happy to get in this rare grape, and especially at this price!
