"There 2021 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru is a blend of three vineyards: Marconnets, Fourneaux and Talmettes, each devastated by the frost. This has a delightful nose, not complex, yet clean and pure with strawberry pastilles, orange blossom and touches of rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, sufficient fruit and a deftly spiced, white pepper-tinged finish showing moderate length. This is an interesting assemblage, and it should drink well over the next decade." - Neal Martin
