The "Luc" cuvée originates from a half-hectare lieu-dit featuring vines planted in 1972 on the hills overlooking St-Jean de Muzols. Situated at an altitude of 250 meters, the vineyards are planted in clay and schist soils. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks for two weeks, following fermentation, the wine ages for 16-18 months in neutral oak barrels. Flavors of dark berries, plum, with hints of spice and a touch of smokiness. This wine is deep, rich, and stunningly good.
