Massaya Cap Est Red Bekaa Valley 2018 (750ml)
A delicious Grenache and Mourvèdre blend. Medium-bodied and silky smooth, the wine shows delectable notes of candied dark red fruit, blackcurrants, dark chocolate, and black pepper. The grapes are grown at an altitude of 1200 meters in the Bekaa Valley near the historic city of Baalbek. This was nicely balanced by good acidity and earthy minerality and it benefited from a light chill. Reminiscent of a Provençal red but still distinctly Lebanese—it was aces alongside grilled pork chops with harissa and Swiss chard. A divine pleasure to sip on.
