The pioneering Pinot Noir of Joe Swan has long been produced by Swan' son-in-law Rod Berglund, who continues the legacy of deep, complex, ageworthy Pinot with remarkable texture and tension. This release has seen some nice bottle age, so there are still some firm tannins that unfurl with a little air. Aromas of wild cherry fruit, with a hint of lavender. Bright, balanced, and rich before a long yet zingy finish.
