John Albert is the assistant winemaker at Ravine's and is making some amazing wines. His goal for this one was to create a stainless chardonnay with some substantial presence in the glass. Stainless chardonnay is one of his favorite wines to drink but it can be a little bashful, so all of his winemaking decisions were based on giving these grapes, from Lahoma Vineyard, the most opportunity possible to show their personality. This wine has a bright, saline minerality that is balanced by a subtle, leesy toastiness.
