This special cuvée is perhaps the most consistently exceptional wine of this domaine, with a depth that is always generous and appealing. It has it all: presence, length, power and finesse. The bouquet is deep and complex, offering up scents of dark berries, sweet black plums, venison, bonfire, a lovely base of dark soil tones, espresso and cedary oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and pure, with an excellent core of black fruit, fine soil inflection, ripe, buried tannins and a long, vibrant and complex finish.
