Domaine des Crets is a newish project from two Burgundy obsessives who recently found their way to an organic estate in the Maconnais. Their Mâcon-Villages, with delicate citrus flavors, has a wonderful balance between liveliness, roundness, and minerality. Notes of lemon and green apple are complemented by a touch of creamy butter flavor. This would go wonderfully with seafood, a cheese plate, or fresh vegetables. This is a domaine to watch!
