On the border of Spain and France is the Cotes de Roussillon in the foothills of the French Pyrenees. The estate is located in Occitania and operated by vignerons Sebastian Calduch and Jeff Carrel. The wine is composed of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Lledoner Pellut (a mutation of Grenache), and Macabeu. So many cherry, currant, pomegranate, and strawberry flavors jump out in this one.
