From 45+ year old vines, the Savagnin is aged in barrel under the veil for 4 years and Chardonnay is aged in topped up barrels for 4 years to preserve its freshness. The two grape varieties are blended three months before bottling. Notes of almonds, honey, and lemon make this wine an amazing pairing with any cream-based dishes, mushrooms, and aged cheeses (especially Comte, also from the Jura!).
