2014 was the first vintage produced of Brussellions, an old-vine parcel rooted in red granite. It’s rare we get to taste wine at its absolute peak of evolution but this is it. Lighter in color, the aromatics were fantastic, savory red berries mixed with tertiary aromas of earth and stone. Bright on the palate, this medium-bodied charmer finished long and fresh, really amazing red Burgundy.
Robert Parker: 94 Points
Unwinding in the glass with a deep bouquet of plums, cherries, warm spices and sweet soil tones, the 2018 Moulin-à-Vent Les Brussellions is medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with the broadest shoulders and most mid-palate volume of the range. This is a serious but beautifully balanced wine that's built for the long haul.
