Built in the early 1500s as a hunting lodge, the Chateau du Petit Thouars is a gorgeous property in France's Loire Valley, now run by the twelfth generation of the family. This 100% Chenin Blanc is bone dry, showing aromas of pear, lemon, white flowers and cream with just a touch of jasmine. On the palate, the wine is rounded and creamy, with a vibrant core of peach and pear fruits followed by snappy minerality. White wine from this appellation is a true rarity: only 2% of all production in Chinon is white!
