A blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese aged in neutral barrels. This wine is beautifully balanced by integrated acidity and tannins. It smells like spiced and reduced dark fruit with notes of prune, raisin, dark cherries, blackberries and chocolate. The palate is characterful but serious with olives, earth, raspberry and savory herbs.
