Château Puynard is a small winery and family home of Irish expats and former London wine retailers, Andrew Eakin and Naomi Murtagh, established in 2016 in Blaye, Côtes de Bordeaux. This 100% Merlot is aged without oak to reflect the singularity of its origins, and is unfined and only lightly filtered. It offers flavors of tobacco, plum and bay leaf. This is old-school, non-spoofed wine. If you look for authenticity in your Bordeaux, look no further.
