80% Xarel-lo and 20% Malvasía de Sitges. The Xarel-lo comes from 50-year-old vines planted on chalky and clay soils, while the Malvasía was planted in 1996 on very deep alluvial loam and slate soils. Fermented and aged for 6 months in 100-year-old concrete tanks with some bâttonage. The wine has a vibrant nose of tart orange, stony minerality, citrus peel, wild fennel, a touch of menthol and a topnote of lemongrass. The wine is bright, full-bodied and shows off lovely depth at the core, with good mineral undertow, zesty acids and fine focus and balance.
