This Chablis Vieilles Vignes comes from 7 hectares of old vines planted on pure Kimmeridgian limestone in Fontenay-près-Chablis. These vines were planted in the '50s by Julie Fèvre's great-great-grandfather, Marcel Fèvre. This wine is an absolutely delicious, mouth-watering, benchmark example of pure, incisive, concentrated Chardonnay. Much of the production stays in France, so we were really lucky to snag a case! Sadly, once it's gone, it's gone.
